I Go Organic is a family business based in Devon. Our company was born when we started really looking at what we were feeding our son.
We soon realised that our food was traveling huge distances, in some cases 1000's of unnecessary miles and that alarmingly; fresh fruit and vegetables' were highly processed and chemically treated to extend shelf life.
It was enough to make us stop, think and act. We quit our jobs in the city, escaped the dirt, grime & pollution and moved out to the Devon countryside. We don’t live in a tepee and drink yaks milk, but we wanted to ensure our son had the best start possible.
So began the quest to understand more about our food; its origins and source, the systems and treatments used to process our food, the supply chain methods employed to get the food to our front door and the environmental impact all of this has on the world we live in...
The truth we discovered about our food was quite shocking and prompted us to seek out an alternative solution that embraces local, organic, seasonal fresh foods that not only taste ‘FANTASTIC’ but also provide us with improved nutritional value, low food miles, ethical sourcing and traceability, fair prices for farmers and reduced environmental impact for everyone’s sake!
We call it shopping that doesn't cost the earth. We know our produce is fresh and we walk the fields it is grown on.
